The warm, bustling atmosphere on entering St Teilos church Hall was extra welcome on Friday night as the gusty, winter rain made leaving the house a challenge! However, battling the elements was entirely rewarded by a fantastic performance of ‘Yes Prime Minister’ by Bishopston Amateur Theatrical Society. It was the 4th night in a run of 5, so by now the cast were in full flow and lines delivered slickly with excellent comedy timing.  An ambitious play for an amateur society but this was evidently embraced by the Society and an impressive set provided the background at Chequers for a play that was well worth leaving the house for.  Catch this play before it finishes and you won’t be disappointed.
