The first two nights have been very well received by our sell out audiences. The whole cast have been outstanding, as well as some wonderful individual performances and great comic moments. Saturday nights fish and chip supper seemed a gastronomic success. A cold, drizzly, November night was soon forgotten as a sold out audience entered the warmth of St Teilos church hall last night. A buffet supplied by local family caterers “Dillys” offered a choice of tasty, festive nibbles accompanied by a warm mince pie in the interval.

Laughs were a plenty as a cast of well loved and experienced BATS actors staged a comedy with some poignant moments, about the joys of family members getting together over Christmas. Each character had been well written and the actors were evidently enjoying the chance to play quite varied roles. The array of props, 80’s costumes combined with some challenging lighting and sound can’t have made rehearsing the play easy, however the results are fantastic and produce a play not to be missed. Rehearsals are going well. There is a buzz of excitement on the rehearsal days or is that panic. Some great performances from our talented cast members. All departments are gearing up and looking forward to the opening night on Friday 18th November 2016. Curtains up at 19:30 hrs.

Our extremely popular buffet night on Saturday 19th November 2016 is now sold out.

I have never seen so many props in one play, the green room looks like the backstage of the RSC!  Rehearsals are coming along nicely, everyone is working really hard and the cast have nearly all learned their lines!  I think the audience are going to really enjoy this play, I haven’t laughed this much since…well, since the last play!  We have had some guest appearances along the way, so thank you to those people who have helped us out!  The stage is now almost set and the lighting and sound is on track; now we just need to get the hundreds of props sorted and everything will be fine!

Our extremely popular food night takes on a festive twist this time, with a cold buffet provided by Dillys kitchen in Sketty, followed by a mince pie and the option to purchase mulled wine.  A cosy and festive atmosphere along with good food is the perfect way to enjoy our production on Saturday 19th November 2016. Cost is £13 per person. Sorry there are no concessions for this festive buffet and fun show. Tickets will sell fast… so book now!
