SynopsisLife for Leila Markham, licensee of a Dorset inn, seems pleasant enough but, with the arrival of dangerous Ruth Cousins, secrets of Leila’s past catch up with her. Faced with a blackmail plot she becomes involved in more serious business of murder. Or does she? The eccentric Minnie Akers sorts things out.
