For our Coronavirus comeback performance in Spring 2022, BATS performed ‘One Man Two Guvnurs’ by Richard Bean and directed by Laurence Evans. Based on Carlo Goldsmith’s The Servant of Two Masters.
This vibrant, fast paced, comedy, a huge hit in the West End in recent years, should be
the perfect antidote to the lock down years. We were very excited about it and the prospect of welcoming everyone back to live theatre at the Glebe on
Friday 1st April, Saturday 2nd April, Thursday 7th April, Friday 8th April and Saturday 9th April 2022.

Working hard on One Man, Two Governors; had to deal with absenteeism in earlier rehearsals due to Covid, cast or their family. Has got easier and now it is starting to flow, with the actors putting in a lot of time to learn lines and moves. We will all be ready for the first night with excitement and probably a little nerves, especially for the new members, but adrenalin will pull us through, bring on April 1st! Looking forward to the community enjoying the shows.
I few photos from the rehearsals…going well, but first night is not too far away!
